Surprise in TEXAS!!!

SURPRISE!!! I WENT TO TEXAS!!!

I hadn't seen my Nanny and Bompa in over 2 years so after a big internal battle on whether or not I could be apart from Aaron for a week, I decided to buy a ticket and surprise my grandparents!!! My mom happened to be in Texas also so she picked me up from the airport and we headed to my grandparents!!! It was so funny to see my grandparents reactions, they both just stared at my for a good minute before they realized it was really me! My Bompa just thought I was my mom for a bit HAHA:)  It was so wonderful to finally see them, I love them so much and their house always feels like home to me and brings back so many wonderful memories.  It was so fun to see all my cousins and have a lot of family time, some good old Texas BBQ, and fun shopping with the girls!!  I LOVE YOU NANNY AND BOMPA!! XOXO

OUR NEW HOME!!

My husband is officially a carpenter, painter, plumber, tile man, and everything else in between! I was so excited to be able to buy a home in arizona (thanks to the recession, homes are super cheap here right now) but I was not so excited about the kitchen that was in our home. Aaron to the rescue! He built us a whole new kitchen at his dads shop with his dad, alex loveless, and his brother Nate! They did an unbelievable job, and I feel a little spoiled getting a custom kitchen right away! We also painted the whole house, with the help of Joon Ku, James Stewart, Sean

( my bro) and Nate (aarons bro), Aaron did a brand new tile floor in the kitchen, and my amazing mom helped with the decorating of course!! (she is always sending me pictures on her phone of cute house items in Utah that she wants to know if I would like) It's a fun way for us to stay connected and definitely no complaints with her beautifying my home! Well here are the before and after pics!! (some of the rooms aren't quite finished so those pics will be posted later)

Remember when Dion (from clueless obviously) accidentally gets on the freeway and its a disaster?  Haha that is exactly what I felt like today trying to make my way to downtown phoenix....DISASTER! I swear I'm not a retarded driver, but I was today...after a few wrong exits and one too many scary parts of town I finally made it to ASU's downtown campus which is probably one of the most beautiful college campus' I've ever seen:) Cross your fingers I'll be able to get back into a nursing program.  Aaron has officially started medical school (last week was orientation) and I'm sure with his 23.5 credits this trimester we'll have plenty of time to go on adventures and blog about them!! I know this is going to be rough but things are going very well so far so wish us luck!

ARIZONA!!!!

We made it!!! After a fabulous wedding, honeymoon, and a wonderful summer of adventures we are officially in Arizona! Arizona has been wonderful so far....a little hot but it will have to do!!! We've set up our home, went camping in flagstaff, visited sedona, met some camels, and started a whole new life:)  Some of my BFF's (shelby and nicole) doubted my abilities to keep a blog updated BUT......I currently have no job, a husband in graduate school aka MIA, and no school (yet), and few friends so bring it on!!!!
