Dr. Tucker

LOOKS LIKE WE'RE GETTING A SECOND DOCTOR IN THE FAMILY!!
Dr. Kevin Tucker
My Brother Kevin was recently accepted into Medical school and I couldn't be more proud:)  I lived with Kevin during his undergrad and I live with Aaron now going through medical school and I have definitely seen first hand the dedication and brains it takes to become a doctor!  It amazes me day after day that they can study the way they do. Kevin has always been an amazing older brother and example to me and I am so happy for him.  After all I did follow in his footsteps to go to the Philipines with Vaccines for the Philipines which is where I met and fell in love with my husband:) I am still hoping he will get into Midwestern (the school Aaron goes to)  so we can be by each other! I know that Kevin and Aaron still have a long road ahead of them but I also know that they will be the most amazing doctors in the WORLD!!!!  Congrats Kev!!!

MI CASA SU CASA

*COME ONE COME ALL*
Living far from home and having a husband busy with medical school makes having visitors VERY exciting! My brother-in-law Adam is here right now and it is a blast!  He works in phoenix often so it will be fun to see him a lot these next few years while we're living here.
Sidenote: Adam is a national make up artist for Lancome and just started a new blog which will contain make up tips and tricks! Check it out here morningmakeupcall

Our friends Katie and Stain will also be here in a few weeks and I seriously can't wait.

(This pick cracks me up...I have no idea what I am doing but I do know that those grape mentos saved me from starving to death in the philipines!)
So if anyone is in the mood for some amazing weather, great shopping, tennis, hiking, and pool time, head our way! Our door is always open:)

Brunette???

(creepy pic??)
SO I HAVE DECIDED TO GO BACK TO MY ROOTS....LITERALLY!
I AM OFFICIALLY A BRUNETTE
I did the math and the upkeep of being a blonde is mucho denero, so I figured it would be a good area to cut back on.....I may be second guessing this decision and I may be asking my mom to start a hair fund for me.  I became a brunette today and I don't think I look terrible and I am optimistic but I am also REALLY used to being a blonde so we will give it about a month or so and decide if it is doable.  What do you think??  I also taught dance today and so I asked my first class (7-8 year olds) what they thought of the new hair do.  They gave it a big fat thumbs down.  They had me laughing so hard and they were definitely not fans of me being a brunette.  They told me I should really dye it back blonde quickly, I told them it was much to expensive but they had some great solutions to that.  Paige suggested I have a lemonade stand, and when I told her that wouldn't be enough money she got really excited and said, "I know, have a lemonade stand for TWO weeks!."  haha another little girl Karson, (whom by the way is being lady gaga for halloween)  suggested I just buy a blonde wig before I even go home and that way my husband won't even have to see it, or even know it ever happened.  It is a good thing I love these kids, and it's nice to count on them to be honest with me.  I expect the same from all of you:) xoxo

I GOT EGGED!

I GOT EGGED..........BY MY HUSBAND
...FUNNY STORY...
TODAY I WAS MAKING LUNCH FOR AARON AND I AFTER CHURCH WHEN HE DECIDED TO PULL OUT THE CARTON OF EGGS.  SUPPOSEDLY THERE IS A THEORY THAT YOU CAN'T CRACK AN EGG IN YOUR HAND...I'VE NEVER HEARD THIS MYSELF BUT AARON SWEARS THEY USE this theory FOR ALL SORTS OF OBJECT LESSONS. SO, AS I AM AT THE COUNTER PUTTING TOGETHER OUR LUNCHES AARON DECIDES TO TRY AND CRACK AN EGG IN THE PALM OF ONE HAND.  I WASN'T REALLY PAYING ATTENTION TO HIM BECAUSE I WAS PUTTING TOGETHER OUR LUNCHES SO HE PUT HIS HAND RIGHT IN MY FACE AND SAID "SEE YOU CAN'T CRACK AN EGG IN ONE HAND"
WABAAAAAAM!
NASTY, RAW EGG ALL UP IN MY GRILL! seriously the egg was EVERYWHERE!
all over my face it particularly drenched my left eye, all through my hair, my clothes, the counter, the cupboards, the front of the dishwasher, the floor, etc. etc. I had no idea a single egg could cover so many surfaces!!!!  Not gonna lie I was pretty flabbergasted  for a good minute, and then I laughed for a good 15 minutes.  Aaron seriously felt so bad and was shocked that the egg cracked all over the house, but luckily he was quickly forgiven!  It made for a pretty good laugh, so please picture us in the kitchen and Aaron cracking an egg all over the place, including me being totally covered in it, and you will be sure to laugh:)  I wish we had a pic but I got that nasty raw egg off of me ASAP!

WONDERFUL WEEK

GREAT WEEK IN ARIZONA
OUR WEEK WAS FULL OF A LOT OF FUN AND EXCITING ACTIVITIES. ARIZONA IS FEELING MORE AND MORE LIKE HOME!
WE SPENT TIME WITH AARON'S COUSINS THAT LIVE IN CHANDLER AND HAD A WONDERFUL TIME, I GOT TO SPEND THE DAY SHOPPING AT THE OUTLETS WITH MY FRIENDS HEATHER AND LINDSEY, AARON AND I HAD A FUN GAME NIGHT WITH OUR FRIENDS HEATHER AND CLAY, MY SISTER-IN-LAW ADRIENNE CAME INTO TOWN WITH HER FRIEND FOR THE WEEKEND SO I HAD A SLUMBER PARTY WITH THEM AT A HIGH RISE CONDO IN DOWNTOWN AND WE ALSO ENJOYED A DAY FULL OF SHOPPING AND THEN AARON JOINED US FOR DINNER. I AM SO LUCKY TO HAVE SUCH WONDERFUL SISTERS-IN-LAW, ESPECIALLY BECAUSE I GREW UP WITH NO SISTERS. AND LAST OF ALL AARON HAD HIS WHITE COAT CEREMONY THIS WEEK! FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON'T KNOW WHAT A WHITE COAT CEREMONY IS, IT IS WHERE THEY TAKE ON AN OATH FOR BEING A HEALTH CARE PROVIDER AND RECEIVE THEIR "WHITE COAT." IT'S KIND OF LIKE GRADUATION WHERE IT IS REALLY EXCITING BUT THE CEREMONY IS JUST A TAD BORING! I'M SO PROUD OF AARON AND HE IS DOING SO WELL IN MEDICAL SCHOOL. HE IS STILL SUPER BUSY STUDYING AS I'M SURE HE WILL BE FOR THE NEXT FOUR YEARS BUT WE'RE STILL TRYING TO FIT SOME FUN IN WITH ALL THE SCHOOLING SO HE DOESN'T GO CRAZY!! THE GREAT WEEK WAS FINISHED WITH CONFERENCE, AND ALTHOUGH IT MADE ME A LITTLE HOMESICK AND WISHING I WAS WAKING UP TO OUR TRADITIONAL DELICIOUS BIG BREAKFAST FROM MY MOM, IT WAS STILL WONDERFUL.

P.S. IF YOU'RE WONDERING HOW I COULD SPEND MULTIPLE DAYS THIS WEEK SHOPPING ON A STUDENT BUDGET, IT'S MORE OF A BROWSE AND GO HOME SITUATION HAHA, I'M SAVING MY PENNIES FOR SOME MORE FURNITURE!!! OH AND THE LITTLE KIDS I TEACH DANCE TO DECIDED THEY WOULD CALL ME RAPUNZEL FROM NOW ON BECAUSE OF MY HAIR, HAHA THEY ARE SO CUTE AND I AM LOVING GETTING TO KNOW THEM.
